Desenzano del Garda’s Rambotti Museum conserves the remnants and tools that paint a picture of the first human settlements and activities on Lake Garda: the oldest plough in the world and a pirogue. A dynamic, modern, innovative city, it is one of the areas where Lugana and San Martino della Battaglia wines are produced. The historical centre is home to the old port, expanded in the Venetian era and overlooked by restaurants, bars and buildings with elegant and welcoming architecture. The breakwater boasts the only lighthouse on the entire lake.
