The Church of San Giuseppe was built at the beginning of the 18^(th) century at the instigation of the Vicinia di Cogozzo due to its distance from the parish church, which was considered excessive for the sick, convalescents and elderly, particularly in bad weather. The local priest, Don Giuseppe Verale, also played a key role in the project. Its façade is unique among the municipality of Bedizzole's subsidiary churches in that it features two large niches containing statues of St Joseph and St John the Baptist. These same saints are depicted in the altarpiece alongside the Madonna and Child, which also features a cherub next to a family crest. The multicoloured marble altar was purchased from the church of San Vito.
