The first body of the church was built in the 15th century, and to the same period dates a fresco of the Madonna and Child, characterised by Byzantine references, which can be admired near the rectory door.
In 1780, it was rebuilt as we see it today: a single hall with several side altars and decorated with plasterwork and frescoes.
Linked to this church is the celebration of the “Madonna del Rosario” held on the first Sunday in October, during which the statue of the Madonna is carried in procession through the streets of the village.
