The Moraine Pantry

Pozzolengo is the municipality of Lugana wine. The landscape is varied: the green rows of vines, the pinkish white of saffron flowers, the golden yellows of wheat. Tables overflow with the products of the land, and a typical meal would not be complete without a few slices of salame morenico or a knob of Grana Padano cheese with honey from local producers, not to mention local desserts, such as Chisol cooked on the grill. The best time to sample these local delicacies is in August during the De Gustibus Morenicis event.
