The Church of San Lorenzo Martire is a vast Latin-cross building with a central dome. The original body of the church, in Baroque style, dates back to 1675 and is characterised at the front by dense and minute arabesques. The rear branch of the cross and the side arms were added around 1840 and intoned in Corinthian-composite style. The neoclassical façade is characterised by a bronze door made by the sculptor Carnessali, while inside you can admire paintings by Andrea Celesti (Lamentation over the Dead Christ) and Domenico Riccio known as Brusasorci (Ascension of Jesus into Heaven), as well as the altarpieces of the high altar by Rettondini (Martyrdom of St Lawrence) and Andrea Pozzo (St Louis Gonzaga), and the organ by Costanzo Antegnati restored by organist Gaetano Zanfretta. The stoup is the oldest memory of the church and the village (1483).
