The permanent collections, on the first floor, are divided into four sections dedicated to painting and sculpture, illustrated manuscripts, sacred gold and liturgical fabric. In the section devoted to painting and sculpture works are on display by artists from Brescia and Verona, including: Paolo Veneziano, Vivarini, Moretto, Romanino, Tintoretto, Andrea Celesti, Gian Battista Pittoni and Giambattista Tiepolo. The section dedicated to sacred gold includes artefacts from the second half of the fifteenth century. In the section on illustrated manuscripts it is possible to admire a collection of manuscript volumes, produced in the twelfth century, while the section on liturgical fabric is one of the richest and most extensive in Italy. Examples of Venetian, French and Italian manufacturing are preserved here from the fifteenth century.
